• Problem Identification: You may notice that you have problems in your crawl space without ever entering your crawl space. • Remove Debris: The crawl space contains nasty insulation, torn & ineffective vapor barriers, pests, and moisture. We will remove all the debris from your crawl space, including mold, mildew & fungus. Mold in your crawl space can cause wood rot and make the structure vulnerable for you. Mold also decreases indoor air quality.
• Control Ground Water: Groundwater includes water from rain, yard water, or a water level rise that can saturate the ground. This water can seep into your crawl space. If your crawl space has water then we will install a drainage system along with a sump pump to drain the water out of your crawl space. This will ensure you a dry crawl space.
• Prevent Moisture: Usually, the crawl space is a damp and moist place as it's related to the ground. Your house can draw up to 15 gallons of moisture a day just from soil alone. Our experts will isolate your house from moisture ground with a high-quality vapor barrier. This is a heavy plastic barrier and is durable against rips and tears. This will give your crawl space great protection.
• Seal & Insulate: Outside moisture can bring in moisture and create a lot of problems. To prevent this issue we will seal the vent using a solid insulation board covered by spray foam to create an air and moisture barrier. We will seal the access tightly with a door system. This system is weatherproof, will not rot warp, ever need painting, or be destroyed by bugs. Most importantly air cannot leak in.
• Insulation:To insulate the foundation walls, we offer 2 ways to do this.
• Spray Foam: An inch-and-a-half closed-cell spray foam is used to seal the place. It creates a moisture barrier and heat resistance.
• Board Foam Insulation: We install an inch and a half of foam insulation board to create a moisture barrier and heat resistance. This sealing will also prevent air from leaking in.
